Survival worse in public system

Survival after colorectal cancer is poorer in public hospitals compared to private hospitals, research from Queensland has found. The study of almost 10,000 private and public hospitals found that public hospital patients had a 48% higher risk of 30-day mortality than private patients. The 2-year mortality risk among postoperative survivors was 6% higher in public compared to private patients....
